If you are thinking about a great way to spend a romantic night at home then nothing beats a night of watching chick flicks with your wife or girlfriend. Every once in a while it is important to get close together with your sweet heart and enjoy a funny or emotional, chick flick with her to show her how much you enjoy spending time with her.

Chick flicks are usually referred to as date movies or movies that are made for the female audience. While many chick flicks are on very serious subjects, others are on the trials and tribulations of dating and finding a man to marry.

Others like sentimental films such as Fried Green Tomatoes and Steel Magnolias. You might find some fun fare in their like Mean Girls and Legally Blonde. If you don�t know what to pick take your wife or girlfriend along for the ride to the video store or ask her in advance. Watching a chick flick is extremely romantic and your girlfriend or wife will definitely appreciate the gesture.
