Most people usually plan a first date together where they can talk to one another and to get to know someone better. Many people also plan an activity so that the date can be fun and if there are any quiet moments, it is not to uncomfortable. Many people enjoy meeting at a park, rollerblading, bicycling or enjoying a few games of bowling or pool. These are great activities because you can have fun and also get a chance to talk.

Try to stay away from movies and concerts. While they are great to go to, you usually can�t carry on a conversation during the performance. Although you can probably fix this situation by having a cup of coffee together, you are better off with some face to face communication through out the entire date.
